Food for thought: Without boring you with pages of what I read and thought was interesting, looking at history of christian theology, neighboring nations all worshipped different deities. the israelites knew God to be unusual in his activities compared to other deities. Other nations, they praised their god for safeguarding the repeated annual cycle of vegetation. That meant in contrast to gods whose function was to guarantee that the same thing would keep happening--like spring for instance--our God made new things happen!
Nonsensical posting: this weekend was weird, i was on the subway and this group of friends were talkin about a pair of shoes this girl was wearing. it was hard to tell if the shoes were purple or blue and that was the debate. they asked me and i simply said it looked blue and smiled. sheesh, colors!! then that nite my friends were talkin bout how he was partially color blind. odd? where does this all lead. i had a funny conversation with julie. she brought up racial colours regarding her dating life. julie said she would date a 'dark guy', but didn't think they were marriage material. AHHAH i couldn't stop laughing, julie u crack me up! so lets boil this msg down to some cheesy hallmark card moral. colors are colors, i like blue M&Ms just as much as i like green ones.
