guys nite...no wait...Men's NITE OUT!!!

After a lot of phone calls and rigorous planning MEN's nite out was awesome and tiring and injuring, well mostly for roy. the one play he chose to run and he gets injured. well hats off to my good friend roy, for the record we smack talk each other a lot out of love. ahhaha. he claims to be better at every sport than i am, but we all know the truth. im the usain bolt of all sports. enough rambling.

QB of the nite goes to ROY
play of the nite goes to team hayden: steve pwning Team Clobber's(my team) defense.
TANK of the NITE goes to philip, minus his turnover, he played really well.

personally i liked hayden's yard rush during darkball warmup game, where he took it upon himself as a reciever to run head on and ram into anyone standing in his path. "big up" to david's parents for letting us use his place for the nite. (like i how i used slang there? makes me feel young again) . HOWEVER, Mrs. Yoon, aka david's OMA, yea i remember staring at her with raised eyebrows trying to figure out what she was telling me in korean. let me count how many times that happened...1...2....14 times. lets not forget hayden's dad who speaks to me in korean on purpose, lol. and hayden's mom who habitually speaks to me in konglish. i think its time i took a crash course on how to speak korean, or maybe i should continue to smile and nod.
All in all a good nite of manly fun. Thanks goes to God for providing a fun nite without serious injury. i hope the girls enjoyed traditional girlyness aka not as cool as guy's'ness, ahahah.

so i promised that i'd continue to share with u interesting things i learn as i read the history of theology, which i think is cool. cuz during that teachers' conference, one of the key tips i remembered was holding my students accountable, sharing with them the lesson before we dive into it together. in this case we aren't diving into it on a sunday but you can still learn.

Works and grace – according to most theologians, Christians should not be proud of the fact that they have been “saved”, they should be grateful to god. They have not earned salvation, for all people are sinners. Rather, they owe salvation to god’s grace—god’s unmerited love, poured out on the undeserving. If one can be saved only by unmerited grace, if no one can earn salvation, it might seem to follow that our moral efforts do not really matter. “Persist in sin, so that there may be all the more grace” Romans 6:1.

So that was my little lesson for that chapter, this book is so thought provoking. i think my next theological blurb will be on this part that i read on God's Silence, its from my devotional book and it stands out as something i want to share with u guys, SO STAY TUNED.
