anyways the title of today's duckpond blog is decisions decisions. November, has quickly been a month of decisions for me. perhaps paul, eugene, ryan and pastor yang have decisions in their lives as well.
we recently had our "lock'in". i was so tired, what a hectic night. but i must say that was a really good movie, although i've seen denzel washington play that same character too many times now. but all in all still a good movie. i'm a fan of forest whittaker. i hope you guys remembered what we talked about after the movie was done, although my conscience tells me u guys were too aloof to remember, ahha. one last thing i want to mention to all the negative nancy's out there. the things me and helena organize for you, yes sometimes are stupid, but dont say that. sorry we're not as entertaining as TV and we cant provide some hard-hitting ultra entertaining msg to give u guys each week. but what we teach u is only as good as how into it u are. have an open mind and enjoy what it is that we're trying to give u and maybe then will u see the bigger picture.
i wrote in a blog that i read a very good devotion and i wanted to share it with you guys so here it is. also, we're possibly having a new website where everyone can post so please stay tuned as we work it out.

After God's SIlence--what?
John 11:6
"Yet when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days"Has God trusted you with a silence--a silence that is big with meaning? God's silences are His answers. Think of these days of absolute silence in the home at Bethany! is there anyhting analogous to those days in your life? Can God trust you like that, or are you sitll asking for a visible answer? God will give you the blessings you ask if you will not go any further without them; bit His silence is the sign that He is bringing you into a marvelous understanding of Himself. Are you mourning before God because you have not had an audible response? You will find that GOd has trusted you in the most intimate way possible, with an absolute silence, not of despair, but of pleasure, because He saw that you could stand a bigger revelation. If God has given you a silence, praise Him, He is bringing you into the great run of His purposes. The manifestation of the answer in time is a matter of God's soverignity. Time is nothing to God. For a while you said--"I asked God to give me bread, and He gave me a stone." He did not, and today you find He gave you the bread of life.
A wonderful thing about God's silence is that he contagion of His stillness gets into you and you become perfectly confident--"I know God has heard me." His silence is the proof that He has. As long as you have the idea that God will bless you in answer to prayer, He will do it, but He will never give you the grace of silence. If Jesus Christ is bringing you into the understanding that prayer is for the glorifying of His Father, He will give you the first sign of His intimacy--silence.
Amen
